Whidbey Island's Fort Casey, is scary enough during the day but will be visited by some seriously ghoulish types as we approach Halloween.
Tickets are $10 each and PRE-PURCHASE IS REQUIRED!
Only 1000 tickets will be sold for each night's performance by Whidbey Playhouse, so you'll want to get your tickets early!
Fort Casey is an old military fort on Whidbey Island. Built by solders to defend Puget Sound against invading ships, its pop-up guns (cannons, really) could rain shells down on any unfortunate vessels.
The dark powder and shell magazines are scary enough on a summer's day. Imagine what they're like on a night where ghouls are loose!
Braving the fort and it's "friends" has become one of Whidbey Island's most popular Halloween events!
For the younger kids, there's a Kid Zone with a Bounce House and games.
Tickets are on sale now at the Whidbey Playhouse website.
